Brief Description
Botswana will be joining the global community to commemorate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The Theme for this year's commemoration is: "Let's ensure a healthy psychosocial working environment." The Day is recognised by the International Labour Organisation and is meant to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases in workplaces worldwide. It also seeks to raise awareness of the need to create safe and healthy working environments for all employees.
The Minister of Labour and Home Affairs, Hon. Major General (Rtd) Pius Mokgware is expected to officiate the event.
