The Minister of Higher Education, Honourable Prince Maele, yesterday, 22 June 2026 visited DDT College, where he applauded the institution for its continued efforts to improve standards. He commended the progress made since his last visit, noting significant strides in development and performance.
Hon. Maele urged the institution to include entrepreneurship in its courses and asked the college to intensify the marketing of its programmes to attract more students. He also encouraged DDT College to strengthen and maximize its corporate social responsibility efforts, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community. The Minister noted that norms and standards for private tertiary institutions will be launched soon, and emphasized the need to demonstrate value following accreditation.
He further implored the college to venture into research as a means of income generation and expressed satisfaction with the collegeβs growth, urging them to maintain momentum. DDT College management expressed delight that the Minister recognised their efforts in improving the quality of education. They noted that the visit and feedback provided motivation to continue strengthening academic standards and institutional performance.
