As part of the prisoners' rehabilitation programme in Botswana, prisoners produce bricks and blocks for purchase by the general public.

Who is eligible?

All members of the general public are eligible to purchase bricks and blocks from the Botswana Prison Service.

How do I get this service?
  • Citizens can purchase bricks and blocks in person from the Botswana Prison Service. There are no forms required.
  • Customers pay and collect bricks when stock is available.
  • Transport cost is charged at P2.75 per kilometer on tarred road and P4.45 per kilometer on gravel.
What supporting documents are required?

No supporting documents are required for this service.

How long will this service take?

There is no definite waiting period. Customers pay and collect when the stock is available.
