The Permanent Secretary to the President is pleased to announce that His Excellency the President has made the following appointments of senior public officers:

Botswana will join other United Nations member countries in celebrating UN Public Service Day on 23rd June 2012.

The Government of Botswana in partnership with Conservation International will host the first-ever from 24 to 25 May 2012, to initiate a vital dialogue with African governments and other leading businesses and institutions about the opportunities, risks and rewards that will come with increased international investment and commitment to sustainable management of Africa’s rich and renewable natural capital – or the wealth of services provided to people by healthy ecosystems

His Excellency, The President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama has awarded medals to Botswana Prison Service employees.

His Excellency the President, Seretse Khama Ian Khama addressed the 32 Meeting of the High Level Consultative Council ,and has noted  that the High level Consultative Council continues to meet biannually to deliberate on issues of national interest between government institutions and the private sector. 

The Botswana SMME Conference and Fair, adopted by the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) in 2009 is committed to ensuring SMMEs' access to the local and international market.
