The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the National Strategy Office and Botswana Institute For Development Policy Analysis  which came into effect yesterday,  has a clear  mandate  to identify emerging policy issues and priorities and align and adapt such policies to Botswanas economy. 

  The National Strategy Office and Botswana Institute of Development Policy Analysis have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the provision of consultancy services on research advice and analysis.

Batswana should change their attitudes towards work in order to help government achieve its objective of eradicating poverty. Addressing Kasane residents recently, Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi, said poverty could not be eradicated if there were still handouts from the government adding that people must shun political leaders who promised them handouts.
