Donor Agency Scholarship Procedures
The Ministry of Education (Department of Student Placement and Welfare) receives donor Agency Scholarships from a number of countries and organisations such as:

• United Kingdom
• Canada Commonwealth
• Hong Kong
• China
• Commonwealth New Zealand
• Commonwealth Cyprus
• Belgium
• Brunei Commonwealth
• Southern African Development Community (SADC) etc.

These scholarships are advertised through the media as and when they become available. Each scholarship will normally detail its requirement and expectations.

Applications are made by letter to the department. After necessary screening of applications, successful candidates are called for an interview on the basis of which placement and/or the final selection is made depending on the nature of scholarship.
