Woman arrested for Unlawful Dealing in Government Trophy Police in Francistown are investigating a case in which a 55-year-old woman was found in possession of elephant tusk (s) at her residence last week Wednesday. The police found approximately 250 kilograms of what is suspected to be elephant tusk (s) chopped into pieces. She has been charged with Unlawfully Possession of Government Trophy. The police are still looking for a Zimbabwean man believed to be her boyfriend who is on the run. In a separate incident, Semolale Police are investigating an incident in which an elephant was found dead at Mashato Game Reserve with its tusks missing in what is suspected to be a poaching incident. The police suspect that poachers removed the tusks after the elephant was killed. Meanwhile police in Gaborone are investigating a case in which two Zimbabwean women all aged 34 and a 24 year old South African woman were arrested at Sir Seretse Khama Airport for suspected Unlawful Possession of Habit Forming Drugs. The women were arrested on arrival at the Airport last Week Wednesday in transist to South Africa.
