Mogonono Community Out reach Project

The Ministry of Defence Justice and Security  is involved in community service projects as part of their social responsibility and one of government's initiatives towards poverty eradication.With the assistance of the Social and Community Development(S and CD)at Kweneg District council a needy family has been identified at mogonono village.

The Ministry started by constructing a pit latrine  for the family as a priority to curb hyeginic ills.Although the Ministry has few members of staff most of whom receive low income they responded spontaneously to the needy family as they contributed money from their pockets and also bought food and clothes for the family during the 2010 Christmas holidays.

The Raletoko family comprises of nine children and two of them are the disabled twin girls aged six years old.due to urgent need of shelter ,the Ministry of defence Justice and Security embarked on a project of constructing a two roomed house for the family.The ministry worked hand in hand with Kweneng Land Board in ensuring that Raletoko family acquire a residential plot at the Village.The family was residing at the lands and had no residential plot in the village.
