The public is informed that there is a major disruption at the Department of Road Transport and Safety Headquarters in Gaborone (BSB Building) in the provision of all transport services.

The interference, which is due to major electrical fault has affected the driver licencing system (theory testing, bookings and issuance of drivers’ licences), vehicle registration and road transport permits.

However, except for the driver licencing system, the public is advised that it can access other services such as vehicle registration and road transport permits from other outlets countrywide.

Efforts are being made to ensure that services are restored and the public will be updated accordingly and any inconvenience caused is highly regretted.
