1. The Ministry of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources wishes to inform the public that the moratorium on the issuance of Diamond Cutting & Polishing licenses will be lifted with effect from 1st April 2012.

2. Guidelines on how to apply for a Diamond Cutting & Polishing licenses together with licensing criteria will be published on the Ministry's and Government websites. (www.mmewr.gov.bw and www.gov.bw ).
