 Phuduhudu house nears completion, Kang

The House project in Phuduhudu is now partially complete. Construction of the project started in March and is expected to be complete at the end of April 2011. Built through staff fundraising activities and donations from Parastatal organizations, the project has about P70.000. The house is a two and a half roomed house which will house the Qwabe family. Despite delays due to financial shortages, the project is expected to be handed over in a fun filled ceremony early in May. 

 

“Goodbye winter”, Phuduhudu

The chilly nights and rainy water that used to soak the clothes and blankets of the Qwabe family will be a thing of the past. The family has never had a decent shelter as their home and the two and half rooms built by MTC family will definitely bring some dignity to the family.

Staff members are requested to continue making pledges in cash or in kind - food items, cutlery and clothes e.tc. The Qwabe family is over the moon since construction started, the family has extended their sincere gratitude to the MTC family.
