Court Recess

On the 2nd July 2010 Industrial Court started the midyear vacation.  The Court will be on vacation for the whole of the month of July.  During this time the court will not hear any cases enrolled in the normal way but will hear only urgent cases.  The Honourable Justices of the Industrial Court use this time to take a break so that they will start in the earnest exercise of dispensing justice to the public very refreshed and raring to go.  But more often than not, their Lordships and ladyships use this time to wind up problematic cases which required more days than were allocated to them during the normal court days.  The Industrial Court will commence to hear cases on the 2nd August 2010 with six judges sitting in Gaborone as usual and the Honourable Judge President sitting on circuit at Maun.
