DESCRIPTION

 

Police Clearance Certificate is an official document prepared by the Police after vetting of persons.

 

How can I obtain the service?

 

For Citizens:

 

a.   Obtain a set of fingerprints at the nearest Police Station

b.   Attach ID (Omang) or (passport for persons under 16 years)

c.    Attach letter requesting for police clearance and reasons by the applicant

 

For Non Citizens

 

a.    Obtain a set of fingerprints at the nearest Police Station.

b.    Attach copy of first five pages of a passport

c.    Attach copy of residence permit (where applicable)

d.    Attach letter for requesting police clearance and reasons by the applicant

 

For both (1) and (2) submit documents to: Criminal Records Bureau.

Turnaround time for the provision of the Police Clearance is 7 working days.

0730 hours – 1245 hours           

1345 hours – 1630 hours

 

The service is not available during weekends and public holidays.
