Fleet Tracking, Management and Maintenance System also known as FTMMS is a system that is being developed to integrate all the business processes within Central Transport Organization (CTO).
The following sub-systems will form part of FTMMS:
· Fleet Management and Leasing Information system (FMLIS) that deals with Management and tracking of fleet, driver information and leasing of vehicles to User departments. Approximately 10000 vehicles will be tracked.
· Vehicle and Plant Maintenance Information System (VPMIS) that addresses the requirement relating to vehicle and plant equipment as well as boarding for disposal purposes.
· Fuel Management System (FMS) will provide information about fuel stock level, fuel issue report, fuel consumption details.
· Document Management System (DMS) that is intended to allow referencing and tracking of key source documents required by other sub-systems.
