ESTABLISHMENT OF A PUBLIC SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE MOVEMENT
The Directorate of Public Service Management seeks to establish a Customer Service Movement (CMS) that will cultivate a Customer Centric mindset within public service employees. A Customer-centric mindset will facilitate the engagement and delivery of service that focuses on customer satisfaction. The CSM will be spearheaded by the Customer Service Champion (CSC) in the office of the Director of Public Service Management.This movement is set to provide leadership direction that will transform the current Public Service culture to a world class service experience for the general Public.
PURPOSE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MOVEMENT
The objective of the National Customer Service Movement is to bring about positive customer service culture in the Botswana Public Service. This will be done by improving factors that drive customer satisfaction in all Public Service Centers in Botswana. All the three key elements of a successful Costumer Centric Culture which are People, Process and technology will be reviewed and improved to make them more relevant to serve Public interest.
