On building the programme we set out to achieve a balance between education, information, entertainment and commercial interests. It is a show with an intriguing blend of listener participation and humour through its Straight Talk segment to keep the station lively and entertaining. It targets young professionals, business community, urban youth and young people.

The show offers different flavours on health and family issues, local and international news briefs. For three hours from 9am to 12noon Urban Flavours makes you feel at home. This package makes those chasing daily home chores not to regret and those driving around to enjoy every minute of their drive. The show offers health tips and local and international current affairs spiced with the latest music.

So, if you are young at heart, vibey and opinionated, then this one is for you! Allow yourself to be hyped up by the possessive sounds of Kwaito, House, R n’ B and Hip hop.

Makgabaneng Soap
Is a radio serial drama aimed at sensitising and educating the youth about HIV/AIDS and behavioural change attitudes. It is a collaborative effort between the Botswana Government and the American Government’s Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (TUSA). It is one of the interventions used to fight HIV/AIDS in the country. The radio drama is very popular.

The Night Paradise
A new show which aims to help the listener relax by winding down with slow and soulful music packed with interesting features which are in line with Vision 2016 and the station’s mandate - to educate, inform and entertain. It is interactive and listeners email their requests for songs and give reasons for their choice. A song with a sentimental value is chosen and played everyday of the show and is declared the song of the week at the end of the week.

The show has increased its local content to focus on the local talent by playing local music. There is a feature on promotion of local artists.
