Reporting corruption

There are several ways to report corruption to the DCEC. It is also important to note that every person is free to report anything they deem suspicious. One can come in person to any of our offices in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun; they can write a letter to the Director; they can send an e-mail or fax their querry to the DCEC. We have also provided a guide form below which one can fill and either fax or e-mail to DCEC.

Moreover, a person has two choices when reporting to us. You can choose to be anonymous or choose to disclose your identity. Reporting anonimousily will assist in concealing your identity in fear of being victimised by those you report however, feedback betweeen the DCEC and you is compomised in an anonymous report since there is will be no communication. A report in which the source is known is the one in which they can testify before the court of law and normally such reports are benneficial to both parties since there is constant communication.
