The Botswana Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner Christopher Mbulawa has urged the Performance Management System (PMS) Branch's personnel to be more committed in ensuring achievement of set goals.
Speaking at the end of the Branch’s two day retreat that discussed the branch’s annual plan for the 2011/2012 financial year held in Gaborone recently, Mr Mbulawa said having good plans and no accompanying actions that could bring them to fruition is useless. He said that customers are looking for good service delivery not fancy plans with no results.
He encouraged participants to work together and support each other to achieve the goals. Among some of the things that were discussed at the retreat was the timely attendance to complaints and calls for service from customers.
The retreat was attended by personnel from the PMS, Research and Public Relations Units, which make up the PMS Branch.
