The Police have arrested four suspects who robbed a construction company of property worth over P58 000-00 in Phakalane yesterday morning.
The stolen property included five laptops, cellphones and over P10 000-00 in cash. The suspects entered the company premises armed with hand guns and demanded money from two security guards and two employees of the company who were on duty.
They took the above property and fled in a Toyota Run-X towards Gaborone after locking the four employees in a storeroom. The employees later reported the matter to the police who acted swiftly and arrested the suspects. They were found in possession of two handguns and eight life ammunitions.
The five laptops and part of the stolen money were recovered from the suspects. The Toyota Run-x they were using has also been impounded. No one was injured during the incident.
