You fill form No. 1 to:
Enter a raffle;
Transfer – for inheritance purposes or purchase;
Surrender.
Raffle
Complete an application form (Form No.1) at the nearest Police Station:
- If you have no firearm (domestic) you may apply for three permits. i.e 1 shotgun; 2 rifles of different calibers
- If you have a shotgun, you may complete two (2) forms for rifles of different calibers
- If you have a shotgun and a rifle, you may complete a form for a different rifle caliber
- If you have two (2) rifles then you may complete a form for a shotgun.
- Attend an interview with the Licensing Officer (Station Commander);
- Applicant to be 18 years of age or above;
- No previous convictions
- Attach a copy of Identity Card (Omang) or Passport on each application form;
- Raffle winners should:
a. Submit Finger Prints on Form BP 52 for vetting

Surrender of Firearm
1. Complete an application form (Form No.1) at the nearest Police Station;
2. Firearm (s) to be brought to the Station Commander for verification of the type, caliber and serial number.
3. Acquisition Permit is then issued to only those without previous convictions.
