General Overview

 1. Service Description

 Receipt and investigation of complaints of alleged acts of maladministration within the public sector.

2. How Do I Obtain Service?

 Complaints can be received through the following processes:

a. Personal visits and consultation

b. Writing and posting letters of complaints to The Ombudsman, Private Bag BR374, Gaborone.

c. Downloading complaint form for completion here and posting it to the above address.

3. How Do I apply for the Service?

 a. Visit any of our two offices at Lot 21, The Main Mall, Gaborone or 1st  floor, Galabgwe House, Francistown.

b. Writing and posting a letter.

c. Download, complete and send complaint form.

4. Costs Involved In Obtaining Service

Receipt and investigation of complaints is provided for free to the public.
