General description:

To provide leadership on the management, organization, coordination and direction of the implementation of administrative matters at Central Medical Stores.

Job description:

1. Provides leadership and guidance on administrative matters pertaining CMS.  2. Interprets and translates Government policies to staff and the public at large for the effective implementation and sustainability of CMS services.  3.  Develops and provides policy guidelines on administrative practices for the efficient management. 4. Coordinates the recruitment and deployment practices as per established policies and oversees the preparation of the staff payroll.  5. Coordinates the maintenance of both movable and fixed assets and undertakes supervisory responsibility for the general cleanliness of the facility.  6. Controls the effective utilization of the budgetary allocation and presents periodic financial reports to Management.  7. Prepares annual management reports.

Job requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration/Business Administration or any related field.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in the field of Administration, Finance or Management
