  • Rainfall: 200-600 mm
  • Temperature: 25-38 C
  • Soil type: Sandy loam
  • pH: 5-7

 

Land preparation and fertilizer requirements

  • Depth of sowing: 3-4 cm
  • NPK 2:3:2 (22) application: 300 kg/ha
  • LAN: 150 kg/ha, top dress in 3 split applications (30 days after emergence, at booting and at flowering)
