It has been brought to the Ministry of Agriculture’s attention that the prices for fertilizer have increased at BAMB outlets due to escalation of prices from manufacturers, which has resulted in farmers buying the same at more than the agreed 50% subsidy. Notwithstanding these increases, Government will honour her obligation by assisting farmers with 50% subsidy for a maximum of 11 ha as stipulated in Guideline 4.4 of the Gudielines for Integrated Support Programme for Arable Agriculture Development (ISPAAD).
Farmers who have paid more than 50% for their fertilizer are advised to visit BAMB with their receipts for reimbursement.
We thank you for your support.
