REVISED CLUSTER FENCING PACKAGE
The Ministry of Agriculture wishes to inform the general public that the Integrated Support Programme for Arable Agriculture Development (ISPAAD) package on cluster fencing has been revised. The revised package will allow individual farmers who do not have neighboring farms bordering them or cannot be clustered to be assisted with fencing material at 50% subsidy. Groups of farmers with fields less than 150Ha will also be assisted with fencing material at 50% subsidy.
The Ministry also wishes to inform the general public that cluster fencing for areas with minimum of 150Ha and a maximum of 3500Ha will continue to be assisted at 100% subsidy. Individual farmers will be subsidized at 50% to construct perimeter fences up to P70,000.00 and groups will be assisted to construct fences up to P200,000.00.
In the event that an individual, group or cluster assisted through ISPAAD cluster fencing component do not undertake production activities, government will repossess the fencing material.
