Service Description
This is an empowerment programme aimed at promoting active participation of youth in the socio-economic development of the country.
It aims to encourage the out-of-school, marginalised and unemployed youth to venture into sustainable and viable income generating projects.
To promote the development of competitive of sustainable and growth oriented citizen owned youth enterprises.
The progam aimes to reduce rural-urban migration by making it attractive to start growth-orientated enterprises at rural areas.
To create sustainable employment opportunities for young people through the development of sustainable projects.
How do I obtain the Service?
- Young person attends orientation on Application Guidelines and Forms.
- Issuance of forms at the end of the ½ day session
- Young person consults with relevant experts and Youth Officers to complete application form. This includes collection of quotations, conducting market research
- Submission of application forms. Application forms are screened before they are accepted.
- Appraisal of application form as well as site visit
- Adjudication
