All roads will lead to Francistown come 17th May, 2010 when the Ministry of Transport and Communications,  ICT industry players and stakeholders will head to Botswana’s second city, Francistown to commemorate the World Telecommunications and Information Society day.

Characterized by exhibitions, public meetings commonly known as Kgotla meetings, a variety of entertainment, the event will be a bee hive of activity that will remain permanently engraved in the heads of the city dwellers that will grace the occasion.

The significance of this annual event is evidenced by the many contributions made by the Ministry and its sector stakeholders to the betterment of the livelihood of the targeted residents of Francistown. The contributions are made in line with the event theme “Better city, Better life with ICT’s”.

The public is invited to attend the event.
