Collection of Annual Charges on behalf of the Government

2. Who pays

• All mineral concession holders (mining licences, minerals permit and retention licences)

3. How do I pay

Annual charge  are payable on the issue of the licence and thereafter annually on the anniversary thereof until the termination of such a mineral concession;

• Retention licence:  P5000 per km² or part  thereof for the first year, increasing annually by  P5000 per km² for the second and subsequent years.
• Mining Licence or Minerals Permit - P100 per km²or part thereof
• Visit Department of mines office in Gaborone or Francistown
