APPLICATION FOR DOMESTIC WATER
People are encouraged to connect their plots to reduce mis-use of water at public standpipes.
HOW DO I OBTAIN SERVICE
- The applicant plot have to be fenced
- The plot should be less than 400m away from the service line (connection point)
- Customer must present themselves in person or send someone with a certified copy of Omang and customary land certificate
HOW DO I APPLY FOR SERVICE
- Provide certified copy of Omang
- Provide certified copy of land certificate
- Fill the application form provided at the office or online
- Submit the form at the nearest office (water and waste-water) of that particular Local Authority
OPTIONS OF CONNECTIONS
Upon approval (three options are available not applicable to all Councils) connection fee differ
- The customer will be required to pay
- Connection fee and Dig the trench himself.
- The customer provide pipeline materials and dig trench himself then the Council will provide standpipe at a cost of P290.00
- The customer pays fixed amount and the council provide labour and all the materials needed.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
- Cash or bank guarantee cheques are allowed at the revenue office
