·        People are encouraged to connect their plots to the Sewer Reticulation lines to reduce underground contamination and pollution to the environment

1.      How do you obtain  the service

·        The area should be serviced

·        The house should have sanitary appliances

·        The plot should be less than 100m from the sewer line.

2.      How do I apply for the service

·        The customer must present themselves in person or send someone.

·        Pre inspection must be done by the office to assess the plot for physical connection within the existing line.

·        Then approval can be granted for connection

·        Customer fills the application form and service agreement forms.

·        During construction every stage must be inspected.

·        At the end final inspection form must be filled and approved then the customer starts to use the service.

3.     Method of connections

Customers have two options for connections:

i)          Where connection point is provided within the plot

ii)        Where there is no connection point within the plot

Connection two differ within the use of the plot

4.     Method of payment

Cash or Bank guarantee cheques are accepted at the revenue office.

5.     Upon approval of the connection

·        Customers are encouraged to pay service fees annually.

·        Failure to pay the service will lead to disconnection
