Members of Ntlo ya Dikgosi attended a day workshop in Gaborone on the 10th of June 2013. Also in attendance was The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. P. Siele, P.S Khumomatlhare and His Deputy S.M. Keaja and officials from Tribal Administration. This workshop was held to discuss and make resolutions on issues relating to destruction of crops by livestock.

The Inter-Ministerial Games have been ongoing for a number of weeks now, and according to the Games’ Coordinator at MLGRD, Mr. David Lebalelo, “the Inter-Ministerial games provide Government employees and the public with the opportunity to have some good clean fun on a Saturday.” He further availed that, “this is in line with our wellness mandate of providing fitness and fun to our employees and the public.”

Mpule Kwelagobe Children Centre (MKCC) will soon have a new strategic plan. This follows a commitment made by KENTZ last year to support the Centre in their efforts to develop a life skills training programme for its children when they eventually leave the centre.

On the 21st of March 2013, Hon. Siele addressed MLGRD Senior Managers, Mayors and Council Chairpersons at a joint forum in Gaborone. The purpose of this forum was to share ideas on how to improve service delivery and evaluate progress made on provision of services and programmes.
