INTERNSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BATSWANA YOUTH Qualified Batswana youth are hereby invited to apply for internship scholarships offered by the New American Chamber of Commerce.

 INTERNSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BATSWANA YOUTH BY THE

NEW AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

 

 In 2011, BOTSREP entered into a partnership with the New American Chamber of Commerce under which the latter will provide ten (10) Internship opportunities to young Batswana per year.

 

2. The purpose of this Internship programme is to create opportunities for young people to learn business and entrepreneurship skills from some of the best companies in the United States.

 

3. Under the Internship programme, participants with a minimum tertiary qualification will spend 2-3 months in Brooklyn, New York, working the skills to establish, market and run successful businesses.

 

4. Participants will also learn best practices in branding, media Relations, Website, Graphics and Print production.

 

5. Internship in the United States does not offer a salary or allowance therefore participants are expected to provide the following for themselves;

 

-       Return air tickets,

-       Accommodation and Subsistence / living expenses,

-       Transportation in New York for the entire duration.

7. MOFAIC will therefore, assist selected participants with necessary information to obtain visas from the US Embassy.
