Teachers have a major contribution towards the development of Botswana. Teachers are a key partner in molding young people for a productive and competitive life in the global Market. As mentors of the nation’s youth teachers shoulder the responsibility to impart appropriate knowledge, right attitudes and relevant skills to our learners. Since 1999, the first Thursday in June is declared Botswana Teachers Day, in recognition of their contribution.
