DISTRIBUTION OF JUDGMENTS
1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Decisions of the High Court and Court of Appeal are made available to subscribers at regular intervals.
2. HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE?
Interested parties subscribe and are enlisted for regular supply of judgments of the courts of Botswana.
Judgments were previously supplied in hard copies but there is gradual move towards electronic copies.
3. HOW DO I APPLY FOR SERVICE?
You apply to the Registrar, will advise you to tender the requisite amount to enable you to be entered in the subscribers list.
4. COSTS INVOLVED IN OBTAINING SERVICE
Payment of P1500 covers judgments for the whole year. Government departments are able to pay through adjustment voucher.
A judgment is also available to members of public who do not subscribe at P5 (five) per page.
