This service aims at issuing building permit to any person who intends to construct (develop), demolish or alter a building prior to carrying out such works as required by the Building Control Act (cap.65:03).

 How Do I obtain the service?

 Complete an application form (Building and planning permission application forms)

 How do I apply for the service?

 Submit the following:

•   Four copies of filled Building and Planning Permission Application Forms.
•   Proof of ownership i.e. title deed copy (certified).
•   Certified copy of Omang (ID).
•    Four sets of proposed development drawings (Location plan, site plan, elevations, sections, details, floor plan)
•   Letter of indemnity from a Structural Engineer for multi storey building/factory shells.
•   Contour plan/invert levels for sewer services
•  Rates clearance certificate

 Cost involved in obtaining the Service

 Application perusal fee = P104.00

Method of payment: cash at council revenue office upon submission of the application
