Southern District Council Secretary, Mr Mompati Seleka applauded Moshupa Sub District Council Corruption Prevention Committee (CPC) for donating to less privileged families during the handing over of two standpipes and compound fencing in Moshupa recently.

Southern District Council Secretary, Mr Mompati Seleka applauded Moshupa Sub District Council Corruption Prevention Committee (CPC) for donating to less privileged families during the handing over of two standpipes and compound fencing in Moshupa recently.

Mr Seleka said the committee is assisting the government to drive the 2016 pillar of a caring and compassionate nation. “The committee has to be commended for showing their good will as a way of encouraging them to continue with these kinds of projects”, said Seleka.

The Council Secretary encouraged residents to assist the committee to fight corruption because it affects us all. “Equality, transparency and being truthful can assist to avoid corruption”.

He advised MOSD leadership to support their employees because that can boost their moral to do more project of this kind. Mr Seleka urged residents to use the Anti Corruption services at their disposal in MOSD to help the Committee to achieve its goals. He pleaded with residents to maintain their Botho spirit and compassion as a weapon in combating corruption.

Sub Council Chairman, Hon. Benjamin Mogodi expressed his joy highlighting that Moshupa Sub District Council has committed hard workerforce, as of recent, reports has indicated that the Sub District has the lowest backlog in poverty eradication projects across the country.

The stand pipes were donated to Ms Mmapatse Kgabo and Ms Sepapi Ramatlhakola both of Moshupa North who were delighted to receive the standpipes.
