SERVICE DESCRIPTION
This service is offered to a client who wants to change from one zone to another zone. e.g. from Residential to Commercial.
HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE
Customers should present themselves in person or send someone with the following:
With your contact details ( address and phone number )
State clearly the transition of use
Reasons for change of use.
Neighborhood consultation forms (obtained from the Physical Planning Office)
- Proof of land rights (certificate, lease or title deed)
- Location plan: making references to major roads and any prominent features in the vicinity of the plot.
- Site plan drawn to scale of not less 1:500
- Indicate the plot measurements
- Show neighboring plots with all passages
- Show the access roads and specify their size.
- Provide ‘typical’ floor plans for the existing and proposed developments
- Indicate the building foot prints for proposed and existing developments
- Indicate all setbacks for the proposed and or existing developments (if any) on the plot
- Provide ‘typical’ elevations of proposed developments
- Submit 10 copies of all drawing and letters
- One copy of each drawing on a drawing paper size not less than A2 and high lighted for presentation.
Note for multi family residential provide a communal open space at a minimum size of the half the total floor area of the buildings
