North East District Council invites applications from qualified and self-driven Botswana citizens for the above mentioned vacancy tenable in Masunga.

Duties:

• Interpret and implement social welfare policies and programmes.
• Provide professional advice on long term planning, execution and supervision of various social welfare programmes.
• Develop and undertake modern principles and methods of social welfare intervention.
• Supervises staff, assesses their performance and cater for their on-going development.
• Reviews annual operational plans to ensure optimal utilisation of resources.

Qualifications: 

• Degree in Social Work or related field

Experience:   

• At least 8 (eight) years on the job experience of which 1 (one) must have been served as Principal Social Welfare Officer II (D3) level or equivalent.
