North East District Council invites applications from qualified, self-driven and motivated Botswana Citizens for the above mentioned vacancy tenable in Masunga.

Main Purpose of the job:
Manage and implement rehabilitative Home Economics programmes.

Duties:

• Provides professional advice on the implementation of Home Economics programmes.
• Monitors and coordinates the establishment of Day Care Centres in the district to ensure compliance with Early Childhood Care and Education Policy.
• Liases with stakeholders on Home economics fairs and commemorations
• Designs guidelines, programmes and strategies for implementation of Home economics programmes.
• Facilitates and organizes training for vulnerable groups on entrepreneurship skills in order to equip them with business management skills.

Qualifications: 

• Degree in Home Economics or related field

Experience:   

• At least 8 (eight) years on the job experience of which one (1) must have been served at D3 level or equivalent.
