MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To drive council light duty vehicles
• Reports to the Council Mechanic any suspected faults identifiable in the vehicle
• Ensures that logbook is readily available in the vehicle and that it is completed and signed by an action officer before commencing the trip.
• Cleans the vehicle and ensures that the vehicle is always clean.
• Undertakes any other duties to meet the exigencies of the service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least Standard Seven (7) Certificate
• Valid Light Duty Driver’s Licence- Class B

EXPERIENCE

• At least three years (3) working experience as driver
