DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

Change of land uses in the Planning Area, sub division of land / consolidation of land are received and assessed by Physical Planning Office.  The applications are then presented before SHHA and Physical Planning Committee who in turn make a recommendation to the Town and country Planning Board.

• Individuals, companies,  Parastatal, government departments.

HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE

• Apply to the Council Physical Planning Unit

Requirements

• Certified copy of Omang
• 3 certified copy of land rights
• Your immediate neighbors must fill in the Neighbor consultation form
• 3 copies of application form
• 7 copies of a detailed and informative location map in A2 or A3 paper
• 7 copies of site plan in A2 paper on a scale of not less than 1:500. The site plan must show existing developments within the plot, north arrow, neighboring plots and their uses and the roads accessing the plot.

WHAT COSTS ARE INVOLVED IN OBTAINING THE SERVICE

• P100 application/perusal fee for change of land use
• P90.00 paid to Council and P10.00 paid to the department of town and regional Planning for subdivisions and consolidation of land.
