Kgatleng District Council Donates to Kaudwane Residents.

The Ministry of Lands and Housing through Department of Housing will be commemorating this year’s World Habitat Day on the 4th October 2010. This year’s national observance will be hosted by the Kgatleng District Council in Malotwane Village under the theme “Better City, Better Live”. The theme highlights our collective vision of a sustainable urban world that harnesses the potential and possibilities, mitigates inequalities and disparities, and provides a home for people of all cultures and ages, both rich and poor. The United Nations has designated the first Monday of October every year as World Habitat Day. The idea is to reflect on the state of our towns and cities and the basic right of all, to adequate shelter. It is also intended to remind the world of its collective responsibility for the future of the human habitat.
