• This entails provision of waste collection and litter picking services throughout the district to improve the general sanitation of the district.
• It also deals with provision of litter picking service along the streets, open spaces, bus rank etc including collection and disposal of dead animals. 
• Collection of waste is done from homesteads, institutions and commercials.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE SERVICE?

• Customers must present themselves or send someone to the Environmental Health office No. 5 to register for the service.

HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE?

 Information required from the customer is as follows:

• Full name of the customer
• Location of the customer’s place
• Plot number.

External customers will be billed on monthly basis while sanitation fee is deducted from salaries of internal customers.  

COST INVOLVED IN OBTAINING  THE SERVICE

• Residential -    P10 per month
• Institutional -   P100 per month
• Commercial -  P200 per month.
