SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Issuing new licenses to customers who have applied for the license in Gaborone
HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE?
Physical presentation to office 93 or 97
HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE SERVICE?
Collect and complete a zoning form(attached) and submit it to office 229,227, or 230 (Physical planning office) on Mondays or Wednesdays, accompanied by the following documents;
(i) Lease agreement for the premises
(ii) Title deed for the premises
(iii) Approved plan for the premises
Upon approval of the zoning, collect application forms (attached) from office 93 or 97
Call health inspector’s office (3923099) same day or visit them at Sanitation Department opposite Maxi Save Wholesale(G-west Industrial
While waiting for the health inspector, complete the application form and attach the following;
(a) Lease agreement for the premises
(b) Certificate of incorporation, share certificates and form that shows names of directors of the company
(c) Approved zoning form
(d) A letter explaining the intended activity of the business
(e) Approved health report
(f) Environmental Impact Assessment Report from Department of Environmental Affairs (Ministry of Environment Wildlife and Tourism) at Travaglini House; Telephone number: 3902050 (For manufacturing license only)
(g) Certified copy of work permit or omang for the manager
Submit the application to Commercial Office
COST INVOLVED IN OBTAINING THE SERVICE?
Upon submission of the application you pay P100 for liquor or trade and P50 for manufacturing application.
