ADVERTISING AND BUILDING CONTROL
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
- Erection of advertising signs (Bill Boards, Gantry Signs, and Street furniture signs) for income generation or directional purposes.
- This type of development also needs planning permission which is issued based on special guidelines formulated from different instruments.
HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE?
Physical presentation to Civic centre office 222/226/227/229 and 231 OR Purchasing of Advertisement Guidelines.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE SERVICE?
- Fill in the Application Forms (3 copies) attached below.
Submit the following:
- Location Plan to an appropriate scale (able to be used for conference room presentation on an A3 sheet.) sufficient to identify the plot to which the application relates. (4 copies)
- Site Plan to scale not less than 1:500 (8 copies). Existing adjacent developments should be indicated.
- Architectural Drawings of the Bill board, Hoarding etc.
- In case of private land Proof of ownership (Title deed or Certificate of Rights) or Lease agreement should be submitted.
- Rates clearance certificate should be submitted
