SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Is the transfer the development of a plot from one person to another e.g. through inheritance, gift, and sale.

WHO QUALIFIES

•         COR plot owner
•        Plot  developed to a minimum standard (at least one habitable room and a toilet)
•          Service levy up to date
•          Loan balance should be cleared except in the case of deceased estate the loan shall be inherited

 HOW DO I APPLY

  The transferor, transferee and the spouse must approach the local ward office to complete an application form.

The transferor will be provided with the following

•         Affidavit form

 The transferee

•         Verification of employment
•          Verification of self employed to be completed by the Commissioner of oath.

The transferee submit the following documents

•          Two passport size photos
•          Certified copy of ID (Omang)
•           Current pay slip (original)
•         Bring along a witness

In case of deceased person the following should be submitted

•         Notification of death
•          Confirmation letter from Commissioner of Oath/Customary court
