DUTIES:

• To respond to an emergency calls in order to save life and protect from fire and other disaster.
• Attends to emergency incidents, fires, road accidents, floods, spillage of dangerous substances, rail and air crashes.
• Rescue trapped persons and animals.
• Inspects and maintains appliances, and equipment, assisting in testing of the fire hydrates and checking emergency water supply.
• Tests fire hydrates and checking the emergency water supply.
• Insures timely readiness of fire equipment and appliances during emergencies.
• Supervises the activities of a fire station to ensure a readily available fire and emergency service to protect lives, property and material from damage or destruction during fire/ emergency incidents.
• Undertakes any other duties directed by the management.
  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Sub Fire Officer’s Course / Basic Ambulance Course

EXPERIENCE: 

At least 2 years as Leading Fireman.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Valid Omang, no criminal records, mental and physical fit. Be of a sober habit
