| Bleskit back with Ware ke tsitsiri 23 March, 2006 | |
GABORONE - Local gospel singer, Isaac Bleskit has released his latest and seventh CD, dubbed Ware ke tsitsiri. The gospel album contains six tracks and it features songs such as Chobolo, Borre, Mr. and Mrs Ditamati, Rradiketso and O itse jang. The albums message is quite clear. God does not condone divorce. Women should submit to their husband and husbands should love their wives. There are so many problems that happen within some families that need to be in the open, Bleskit told BOPA. Bleskit defines the title track Ware ke tsitsiri as a call to married couples to compromise and perceive marriage as an institution. The song talks about a husband and a wife who are always fighting. The husband sees the wife as a nag or a bug that irritates him everyday. They seek the advice of a priest who fails to solve their problems but discourages them from divorcing People should know that divorce is not a solution to problems but what they should know is that once in marriage both parties should be able to handle problems and try to come to terms with each other, understand each others needs and work towards bringing happiness amongst each other, he said. He said the track Chobolo simply advises people to think before they commit themselves into marriages or make decisions that they will later regret. In this song, both the wife and husband realise that they made wrong choices and are always at each others throats by condemning each other. This is what should be discouraged and people must think and get to know what they are getting into before they commit themselves into marriage, Bleskit said. He said his albums; Re bolelele, Rati Rati, Dihosana, Khubamang, Fatshe leno and Jeso zibonakalise, represent reality. With the release of his seventh album, Bleskit said he was hopeful that it would do better in the market. BOPA |
