Customer Service Standards Framework
The customer service standards were set and tested during the reengineering and auditing stages of the Business Process Re-engineering excercise. The standards are in two categories; the Generic and Unique. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve(CKGR) was established in 1961 to protect wildlife resources and provide sufficient land for traditional use by hunter gatherer communities of the central Kgalagadi

The new lifestyle of the residents (permanent settlements, rearing of livestock, etc) of the Game Reserve developed a conflict of land use between wildlife conservation and emerging human settlements inside the CKGR.
