Service Description:

 

Agriclture Services Support Project (ASSP) is designed to enhance the productivity of rainfed agriculture through refocusing ISPAAD to become a more effective instrument of rural poverty reduction; through use of improved agricultural technologies, lower cost farm mechanization and develop a viable model for smallholder irrigation using waste water resources.

 

 How do I obtain the service?

  • Contact the nearest Crop Production Office or the Agricultural Extension Office.
  • No application Requirements. Selection for piloting is done by the farmers and the Extension Officer.
  • Only committed farmers will be assisted.

What is the cost of the service?

 

No costs involved.

ACCESS TO THE VIP LOUNGES AT THE AIRPORT IS RESTRICTED.

The use of the VIP Lounge is only permissible from the level of Permanent Secretary to that of Head of State. 

With regard to Diplomatic Missions, use of the VIP Lounge is restricted to Heads of Mission only.

Prior to such use the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation must be informed in writing at least 72 Hours in advance.

All authorized persons are issued an authorization certificate which should be presented at the security check point for purposes of identification.  Authorized users are to stay within the confines of the lounge except in the case of those who have Airport Identity Cards which allow them access to the airside. No pets are allowed.  No alcoholic beverages are permissible.  Smoking inside the lounge is prohibited

ALLOCATION OF ATTORNEYS TO POOR LITIGANTS

 

            Service Description

 

There is a provision in the Rules of the High Court  and Magistrates Courts, where upon successful application for legal assistance  by a poor litigant, who is unable to  raise money to pay an attorney/lawyer to represent her/him, can get government assistance to pay for the legal fees for her/him.

 

How do I obtain The Service?

 

Make an application to sue or defend as a pauper to the Registrar in the case of the High Court and to the Magistrate in the case of the Magistrate Court.  The application must be supported by affidavit stating fully the grounds of action or defence and the particulars of one’s means.

 

How do I apply for service?

APPEAL CASES FROM HIGH COURT AND INDUSTRIAL COURT

         

1.   SERVICE DESCRIPTION

 

Parties aggrieved by decisions of the High Court or Industrial Court are at liberty to note their appeal with the Court of Appeal.

 

2.   HOW DO I OBTAIN THE SERVICE?

 

You file the notice and grounds of appeal with the registry of the Court of Appeal as well as the High Court or Industrial Court, to enable the originating court to commence transcribing the record.

 

A copy of the notice and grounds of appeal is transmitted to the Court of Appeal registry which will register and give a case number to the appeal.

 

3.   HOW DO I APPLY FOR SERVICE?

 

The appeal is noted within six weeks of the judgment appealed against and following as closely as possible the forms prescribed under the second schedule of the Court of Appeal Rules.

 

4.   COST INVOLVED IN OBTAINING SERVICE

 

The appeal fee is P15 and P6 for leave application.
